Corporate Social Investment is defined as grant making or social investing into projects or programmes that aim to make a sustainable positive impact in society.
Â
Such projects should be aligned to the MTN core business and to addressing the needs of global society as agreed in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).
Â
CSI projects, which are supported by MTN, should ideally also be aligned to the National Priority Area (NPA) for government.
Â
CSI for MTN includes programme commitment for at least a 3-to-6-year period, where impacts and outcomes are measurable. This represents the core focus and the majority of investment for MTN CSI divisions and Foundations.
